Coaching

Training Facilitation In room or virtual observation of trainers and the overall course design in action. Feedback is provided 1 on 1 and in writing, includes suggestions and recommendations with supporting practice sessions. Training Needs Analysis Support during the analysis process or review of your analysis once drafted. I will challenge assumptions and thinking to ensure your TNA is on the mark. Feedback can be provided in person and/or in writing. Course Design Peer review of course design for elearning, peer to peer, and face to face training. Constructive feedback to ensure your course delivers to your learners and meets the needs of the business.

Workshops

My hands-on workshops help your team confidently design, deliver, and evaluate learning. You can select from off the shelf options or ask about customised workshops to fit your specific needs. Standard pricing applies to all off the shelf workshops and is for a maximum 10 attendees per workshop.
Training Needs Analysis
This workshop covers types of analysis, methods for conducting analysis, identifying training and non training needs, learning objectives, course delivery options and assessment.
Coaching
The coaching workshop is designed for those who seek to improve or increase performance on the job, and support transfer of learning from the training room to the job. My self awareness approach enables self correction even when nobody is watching.
Facilitation and Presentation skills
I practice what I am preaching in this practical workshop where participants see the theory in action and get to try it out for themselves. Covering use of visuals, giving directions, questioning techniques and group management, plus much more.

Process Improvement

Tools used in Training needs analysis often identify opportunities for changes to how things are done. I use these transferable skills to look closely at how tasks are structured and what your people are actually doing. A fresh pair of eyes and a willingness to challenge assumptions, I help teams move from "we've always done it this way" to "this works better for everyone".
Efficiency
Are there opportunities to streamline activities, cut out unnecessary steps, and speed things up without reducing quality?
Task design
Are the tasks following a logical sequence? Are all the steps necessary? Are staff taking short cuts and are they safe or risky? Maybe they have found a better way? Are they all following the same process? Let me take a look and answer those questions. Then we can work together to make improvements
Consistency
Process, procedures and step by step instructions are all designed to ensure consistency. People will find other ways if it is rewarding to them. Inconsistent application can lead to reduced productivity and mistakes. I can determine how consistent your people are.

Interim Leadership

We all know people will move on or take extended leave and sometimes the timing can make things challenging. If you need someone to cover for an absent Training Manager I can offer from 4 weeks to a mutually agreed time period. I also offer a Virtual Training Manager service. If your company doesn't have a dedicated L&D function and needs some support, guidance or direction, this option could work for you.
